    I agree with your point.

    Sikaranistas have also those kicks in their arsenal. But what makes them unique is that they practice more the delivery of biakid at any angle, height and using different footwork. such that it becomes second nature to them. the reason why Biakid is its preferred kicking techniques lies on its inherent destructive potential.

    Sikaran, contrary to more popular beliefs practices a lot with hands and even weaponry. I think this goes true with both Banaag and Geronimo Clans of Sikaran.

    It is only the competition version of Sikaran ( its most popular expression ) that the kicks are solely used for attacking and scoring points inside the pitak.

    Yes, this was a surprise to me as I had first learned of it as being about kicking (solely)! Obviously it makes more sense this way.
