NYC Typhoon Haiyan - FMA Benefit seminar - SAT 12/7

    Fellow Filipino Martial Artists, Kali-Arnis-Eskrima Instructors from the tri-state area will be coming together to teach a Benefit seminar in Manhattan on Saturday December 7th, for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. All proceeds will directly aid those that were affected in the Visayas, through the organization Maya's Hope Foundation Inc. ; http://mayashope.org/

    Typhoon Haiyan killed at least 4,200 when it tore through the Philippines on November 8th. Nearly 500,000 homes were damaged when Haiyan hit, according to the Philippine disaster council. The storm displaced 3 million people and affected 9.8 million.

    Tacloban - a city of 220,000 on Leyte island - was particularly badly affected.

    Please attend and show your support for the victims of Tyhpoon Haiyan.
