My son and I went to see this today. It was not very good. The story was at least one-third flashbacks to when the main character was younger (and played by others); the kyoketsu shoge variant that was used repeatedly was clearly CGI; the CGI-generated blood flowed like in Kill Bill; the magical ki-powers were overdone to the point that they were distracting; and overall it was a tired story. So, I can't recommend it.

Still, I did enjoy seeing Sho Kosugi again, even though his character was unrelentingly negative.

Thanks Arnisador I will skip this one then.
  3. Me too.

Did enjoy the Asian chick's skills in "The tournament" which was out recently...

Always a pleasure seeing Robert "Begbie" Carlyle pick up another movie role too...

Too bad, i was looking forward to it. The action in the commercials looked quite promising.

You can catch his sons on G4 competing in the Ninja Warrior contests.

Who? Kelly Hu? Lady Deathstrike is very... admirable.

Agreed, he died quite gruesomely in 28 Weeks Later
