    I've seen this credited to Dale Seago but can't be sure if that's correct:

    There is some good stuff in there but I would caution that it is easily to look at a small sample of situations and come to an erroneous conclusion. Especially when that conclusion tends to support your own beliefs. Again, I am not dismissing this out of hand so I hope it isn't taken that way, but there much more to the story. Furthermore, the statement about not learning anything new in the last 400 years about dealing with knife or other violent attacks is hogwash in my view.
