Too many of the older FMA masters are facing health issues recently. I hope that this is but a minor issue and he will soon be back up and with us. My prayers are with him.

We are losing too many Manongs and elders.
They have so much left to share and teach for the next generation.
    Please get well soon.
He will be in my prayers.

According to Eskrima Digest, he's even doing a seminar in the U.S. next month:

  15. Manong Cacoy is fine and well. Check out You Tube I have started posting some clips of Grandmaster training (with his permision). This is after his illness. It didn't take him long to recover and to get back on the mat (a real demonstration of his inner strength and returning physical strength).

Manong is now back in The USA conducting seminars as usual.

    A truly remarkable man.
