I could be wrong, but wasn't Remy in the states before '79?

      • Remy left the Phillipines in '74 and did not go back in '79 as he was still in trouble with the then President Marcos.
Now, could he have gotten the cert in the states? Yes.

During the 70's when I was living in the Philippines, there was a lot of instructors from both remy and ernesto's affilation and organization.. Roland Dantes, Rodell Dagooc and other named instructors from this lineage of Filipino Martial arts was active even while Remy was stateside..

This is kind of interesting. Ron is an accomplished enough martial artist that he wouldn't need to pad his resume with fake certs, but you'd think his name would have popped up somewhere before this.

I have to agree with Brock. Ron has a lot of notches in his handel. it could have been signed by one of Remy's under studies. The last name looks like it starts with a "V". Any ideal if any of Remy's guys had a last name that started with a V?
